This project involved installing a Joomla site backup from Windows hosting on Linux hosting which presented all kinds of problems which were resolved, the work included;

This involved investigating the issue, and modifying the code to reinstate the Kunena login on a Joomla 3.8.4 website with several thousand users who could not login.

This project involved investigating the options available, testing, developing a migration plan, producing a PHP script to create several hundred Joomla tags in the core Joomla tags component, from the broken TorTags component, redirecting several hundred URL's, adding custom overrides to the Joomla Tags component, creating modules, and customising the layouts in a test environment, followed by implementation on a live site.

This involved analysing over 30,000 URL's on a Joomla website, investigating the options available, testing, developing a migration plan, installing JoomSEF to replace MijoSEF, producing a php script to modify the MijoSEF URL's, populate JoomSEF database tables with the URL's, removal of unwanted, and duplicate URL's in a test environment, followed by implementation on a live site.

This involved adding a dynamic Sitemap generator to a Joomla Website, configuring and generating HTML and XML sitemaps, Implementing Google Analytics, adding the new site maps to robots,txt, and advising the client how to perform basic Search Engine Optimisation, and how to submit sitemaps to Google, and Bing.

This involved analysing a VPS hosting multiple Joomla and WordPress websites with Plesk, quantifying load times on a sample of 100,000 plus web pages, increasing server resources, adding additional Apache Server modules, re-configuring Apache Server and the hosting configuration, switching from PHP 5 to 7, testing, and tweaking using  .htaccess for sites where the global Apache configuration wasn't optimal, along with automating daily site backups.

This project consisted of installing a backup system, backing up the website, updating Joomla from 3.6.5 to 3.8, and migrating J2Store from from 2.8.8 to 3.2.25 using the migration tool, and adding additional security measures to the website.

This involved modifying a Joomla user in the database on a Joomla 3 site via phpMyAdmin to obtain access, removing a firewall component, several unused extensions, along with several Super Users, performing a security audit, updating the Joomla version and all extensions, and adding extra security to the site.

This was a full website rebuild, replaced the inadequate site with modified Joomla core files and no documentation with a fresh Joomla installation, imported users and content from databases, installed a RocketTheme template and Gantry Framework, Community Builder, and CB Subs to manage users, membership and subscriptions to allow different users to access premium content and online video sessions.
